RESEARCH

researchMy research is focused on the neurobiology of learning and memory, but I am also interested in methodological issues in the memory field. The main topics I am currently interested in are:

  • Biperiden (muscarinic antagonist) as a memory deficit model
  • Cognition enhancement in MCI and ADHD populations by manipulating dopamine transmission
  • Cognition enhancement in elderly by manipulating long-term potentiation
  • Novelty processing and its role in memory performance

The methods I use in my studies are:

  • Pharmacological manipulations
  • Neuropsychological tests, mainly in the memory domain
  • EEG assessments, focusing on event-related potential components related to memory performance
